His eyes followed Cypher as he walked up beside him and he shifted, resting his elbow on the arm of one chair. "Indeed," He said quietly, as if in thought. He pulled himself out of his own mind and into the waking world once again to glance back to the window.
"And what about yourself, will you learn from the experience?"

Without a word, the Daemon lifted his arm from the chair, and took one single step away from the night walker, only to turn on his heel and prop his back against the side of the armchair, his hands settled in the material pouch against his stomach as he pondered for a brief moment.
"Maybe." He answered, quite a plain tone of voice for something so serious a matter. "It's not a pleasant feeling, that's for certain."

"No, it is not, and yet I inflict it one others..." He laughed gently to himself as he though about it. "Better then a fate served to some though..." He looked over to Cypher, watching him lean against the chair.

"It can't be helped." He replied smoothly, his head strayed to the side to catch sight of the Vampire in the corner of his eye.
"It's how things work, nothing more. You don't see people trying to force wild animals to eat anything other than meat, so why should your kindred die for something that is only in their nature?" He asked, before his head once again strayed to the window that stood just a few meters away from him, embedded into the wall.

"No, perhaps not, I did not ask to be a hunter of men..." He drifted off into his past, seeing clearly the murders of his siblings and family, his mothers head in his arms...
The steady heartbeat of cypher brought him back to the present and he looked up, confused ofr a second before understanding it was little more then a dream from lack of sleep.

The Daemon remained as quiet as ever, his chin pressed into his chest, and his heartbeat steady in spite of the brief drain he had endured a day before, the lack of vital blood causing a surprisingly long dizzy spell in his head, which the thief could still feel droning on in the back of his mind as though it were some machine.
A slender finger pressed itself against his forehead, a feeble attempt to cease the gentle pain in his skill, yet he kept it there, as if it would work if he left it long enough.

"..." He looked as if he was about to say something but silence fell from the young looking vampire even as he looked at Cypher, feeling the pain with the subconcious telepathy he possesed.
"You ought to rest too..." He finally forced from his almost dry mouth, if vampires had such things.

"I'll be fine." He retorted calmly, his arm dropped like a stone to settle against the other, neatly over his chest, but never once did the Halfling turn to face the Vampire who had been the source of the dull pain in the first place. "I've had much worse in the past."

"Hmm, perhaps, but the pain will recede quicker of you do." He yawned again, feeling the light of the sun begin to peak over the horizon like a long awaited threat or sadness.

The Daemon was hesitant to admit it, but the Vampire was correct, he needed rest. However, it didn't mean that he couldn't ignore the night walkers advice.
Before he knew it, his eyes slid shut, his once tensed muscles slacked, his chin pushed further into his chest, as though the youth had fallen asleep on his feet before he could sit. But the Halfling fought the tendrils of sleep, and lifted his heavy head from its place to catch sight of the golden red hue that flooded through holes and patches in the glass.

At the sight of the light he got up and in a small blur of movement had lifted Cypher from his resting place at the side of the chair to the seat where he had been, placing him careful but swiftly down and turning, walking out of the room and into a small doorway beside where the light did not penetrate. He himself lent against the wall, letting his eyes shut and his legs fold until he was crouching on the floor.
"A final word of warning young Cypher, I would not approach me in sleep." He said, his eyes closing slowly, the heavy lids blocking out the little light that did enter, protecting his sensitive eyes.

The Daemon attempted to listen attentively to the words of the night walker, but in his sleep deprived state, he thought it difficult to pull the sentence together, and found himself merely pretending to pay the utmost attention to the creature, before his own eyes slid shut, the cold mask over the amethyst orbs bit them, giving him a small prickling feeling in the back of his skull.
Dark eyes cracked open once more just mere minutes after they settled to grant their owner a well-deserved rest, but in a strange act, the Halfling found himself unable to sleep, a rare occurrence for the youth. So rare that he could not remember when it had last occurred.
More than a little vexed by the less than perfect timing, the Halfling clenched his hand into a fist, before he swung his legs from the arm of the sofa to the wooden floor, standing on unsteady feet before he glanced about the room, barren of all other life - or so it seemed.
With long, painful creaks and groans from the floor boards underfoot, Cypher caught sight of a foot, obviously belonging to the only other thing that was close to living in the building. With slow and drawn out footsteps, the Daemon found himself standing before the Vampire, a few meters between them as he examined the creature's arm, curiosity in his eyes, who continued to silently yearn for sleep.
The thief took a final pace to wards the sleeping corpse, the floor boards cried out once more as he squatted beside the night walker, his eyes focused upon where the bullet had been buried earlier in the youthful night, the warning he had been given unheeded, even as his normally keen eyes squinted to inspect the former wound in the darkness.

The vampire stirred and in his sleep his body sensed the nearing of prey. It immediatly took effect, the body acting of it's own will, the muscles tensed and his teeth seemed to grow longer in the lust for the clean blood of the halfling. With the telekinetic powers in swing it slammed the door behind him with a creaking bang, shaking the house and cutting off any escape route bar making a whole in the wall.

The Daemon's eyes widened, suddenly wide awake as the almost unrecognizable changes and movements caught his eye. A sharp bang filled his ears, sending his head sweeping to the side to watch as the door collided back into place, the weakened floor shook under the force, serving only as a flare for danger to the Halfling.
The tired youth grabbed the chance he had to escape, hastily he slid a leg back, shifting quickly into a half start as he attempted to leap back from the supposedly sleeping creature.

The arm of Camisade grabbed Cypher's neck psuhing him down and twisting him about. Even as the vampire was asleep his eyes were open but focused on nothing, glanicing over Cypher and about the room. The vampire's strong arm held him to the floor, the vampire himself leaning over him, the long teeth now showing over his lips.
