Skawn rose from the shadowed roof of a small butcher's shop.
He sat quietly, huddled up, and scribbling franticly in his notebook.

Skawn pricked his ears. A few roofs away, he could hear talking. Familiar voices. He pocketed the notebook, and listenened intently.

"Then i climbed up here and I feel great!"

Alonzo slid the bike into the alley and charged up the fire stairs. He pulled himself onto the roof and looked for the silouettes that he saw from the street.

"Damn i should'a known." He said walking up to them.
"You guys know its illegal to come up here, unless you live here." He said informativly but sat next to them anyway.
"Maybe i should cuff you Alya." He said and winked then laughed.

Skawn sunk into the shadows, and emergered behind the three figures. He reached out to tap Alya on the back, when he felt a stabbing pain in the back of his head. One of the three was someone he knew too well, the shadow of an enemy. The police officer. Skawn sunk back into the ground from whence he came.
