Rooftops

[Cypher]

"If this servant was as pathetic as you claim, then why do you complain about it so?" He asked cooly, his soft eyes flicked up through his hair slightly, the pale moonlight catching the iris of each eye and illuminating them until they practically glowed.

[Skawn]

"Well, I can't say his wings bursting through my back was much fun! And I didn't even get to keep them!"

[Cypher]

"The pain would be simple enough to avoid, given a warning to the occuring incident, that is." The young man replied.

[Skawn]

Skawn sighed. It was time to admit defeat, such a petty argument was not worth continuing.

"You're completely right. It is my fault that what happened happened, and I am sorry for blaming you..."

[Cypher]

Cypher's frown deepened, he was fully aware at how impolite he was being, and it was completely uneeded, too.
"I apologize for my lack of empathy." He stated in an almost cold tone.

[Skawn]

Skawn took Cypher's cold tone as sarcasm.

"You know what? I really have better things to do nowadays than stand around listening to your 'all-knowing' bull-"
Skawn paused, rephrasing his words to avoid sounding like Alonzo.
"-excrement. I'm going to go see Lucio..."

Skawn folded his arms and glared sharply at Cypher, and sunk quickly into the shadows of the spire.

[Cypher]

Cypher let the near-offensive comment fly over his head and waited patiently for the shadow-like being to dissappear before his eyes widened back to their 'regular' state. The thief lifted his head up and turned it to face the maze of buildings and artificial light beside him.

"Such offensive language, for royalty." He mumbled clearly to himself.

[Cypher]

A short while after Skawn had left, Cypher followed suit by spreading his wings and flying high into the air in search of another rooftop to gaze at the city below him. He chose his favourite place after the church, the office block he had grown so accustomed to as of late.

The thief landed without a sound from both himself nor his wings as he touched the stone below him. He remained silent as he walked to the very corner of the building and sat himself down to stare out at the lively city life, he drew up his knee and rested his arm upon it as he calmly watched the rows of vehicles and the flocks of people the lingered down below.

[Cypher]

Cypher landed crouched down on the roof of a large shopping outlet, his thick leather coat flapping around behind him as he stood up. The thief walked over to the edge and peered over curiously at the cars that were lined up on the road.

The young man frowned as he scanned the area, wishing he had chosen to pay the church a visit.

Cypher frowned, and after mumbling his incantation he allowed his black wings to burst from his back. He looked up to the stars that hung in the sky before he took off into the air.

[Alya pulled herself up over the edge and stood up. Walking to the oppposite edge of teh roof she sat down with her legs hanging over the edge and looked down on all the people scurrying about below her. She smiled grimly]

"I wonder whos gonna get hurt next? Will it be the blonde or the guy wearing the hat? Which one of them will loose a loved one?"

[Max]

After walking around for a bit max decided to getter a better view of the city, and the best place could be on the rooftops. Once he had climbed up Max noticed Alya sitting on the edge and decided to walk over

"Hey" he said

[Alya didnt even bother to turn around she continued to look down on the city where the people resembled scurrying insects]

"Hey yourself"

[Max]

Max was confused

"erm... whats wrong?" he asked

[Alya sighed]

"Its strange you know! People just go about their business everyday living their lives the best they can and then all of a sudden bamm........something happens to turn their whole world upside down!"

[she turned to face Max]

"Alonzo is dead."

[Max]

Max opened his mouth to say something but then thought for a while

"i... i know..." he said shamefully
