Alya climbed a fire escape to the rooftop and pulled her self over walking to the edge of the roof she looked out over the besieged city. In the distance she could make out Drakes castle where she assumed Stalker was holed up. She sighed and thought about what Barry had just said. She stood on the edge of the rooftops for hours the wind causing her white blonde hair to flap around her beautiful but tense face.

Alya turned and walked down the rooftop then stopped and turned to face the edge again. Taking a deep breath she began to run up the rooftop towards the edge until she was nearly at the edge.
*We know you can do it Alya you just have to have faith in yourself!* she ran straight off the edge of the roof and began to fall she closed her eyes and the air wavered in front of her and she disappeared

Cypher trudged over to the edge of the office block that he now occupied, and peered over the risen stone edge down to the streets below. Once lively, ever-active streets, lay abandoned, silent, and smeared with the blood of men, women, and children alike.
The daemon blinked in relief at the sight below him. He was lucky to have saved so many people those few days ago, but his heart couldn't help but sink when he thought of those whom he could not have outstretched his hand to in order to help them. The youth remained still, silent as if he were made of stone, as he continued to stare absently downward at the chaos that surrounded him.

Cypher's ears pricked at the sound of the noise of metal. The young man turned to see an unfamiliar figure standing not directly behind him, but rather far off. The daemon remained silent and waited for the other man to speak first.

Cypher's eyes turned back to the street below him. "We're caught in a war." He replied cooly, the soft breeze that swept across the rooftops picked up the back of the daemon's jacket to let it billow in the air as he turned his attentions back to the stranger in front of him.

Cypher heaved a sigh of defeat. He did not want to sound rude, so silently he took up the offer given to him. The daemon disappeared from the roof, and in turn the Dark Souls that remained searched frantically for wherever he may have escaped to. Eventually they spotted a dark shape high above him in mid-air, but it was too late, because even though they had noticed their first target, they had failed to recognize the eight other shapes that were tearing through the night sky towards them.
Each Soul's head snapped back in a wave of natural reaction, a long black feather embedded in between their eyes as they fell back. Three of the already dead five received the other remaining trio of feathers in their chests, directly where their hearts should have laid. The thief landed silently on the roof before the inanimate corpses of the Souls could hit the floor and rapidly dissolve into oblivion, which they did the moment they made contact with the cold stone of the roof. Standing up to his full height after beating the air out from underneath his jacket, Cypher looked directly at Corvus with curiosity in his soft purple eyes, and waited once again for him to speak.

Cypher smiled and bowed his head politely to the gunslinger. "Thank you very much." He replied in his usual calm tone. "You are quite impressive, yourself."

Cypher watched as Corvus sat down upon the roof, and turned his back to the fighter to resume what he was doing before, scanning over the many destroyed buildings, many crippled to nothing but blood-soaked debris of their former glory. The youth's eyes narrowed, as he could only stand and imagine the horrors that the humans, who once occupied the hundreds of homes that the city held, had to endure.

The dark-haired thief twisted his head back to catch the sight of Corvus speeding into the distance. The daemon remained silent as he slowly turned his head back to gaze out to the destruction, the complete chaos, that rattled around him. "...Sorry." He said gently to the cold, iced wind. When it looked as though he were apologizing to himself, he was, in fact, apologizing to the Souls that he had killed but a minute ago, despite that they had already faded away.
