Rooftops

[Cypher]

A soft, rolling crack filled the night air as Cypher slowly circled his arm round and round to relax his stiff shoulder. With one slender hand firmly pressed upon his shoulder, the Daemon stopped almost instantly at the sound of a second being.

The young man pivoted on his heel to come face-to-face with the stranger. He remained silent, his hands dropped to his sides as he waited cautiously for another movement from the woman.

Selene held out her veiny hand and smiled.

"Selene, and who are you?" She said very seductivly.

[Cypher]

The young man shifted his upper body warily at the simple gesture, deep purple eyes flew down to the hand held out to him to inspect it. Hesitantly, the young daemon righted himself, and reluctantly stepped forward, holding out his own hand to gently grasp Selene's hand in a firm shake.

"Cypher." He replied, his voice held a strange, rippling tone as he spoke.

She pulled him closer and kissed his cheek deeply.

"Bye, Cypher." She jumped of the roof tops and ran off.

[Riley]

Riley climbed a fire escape and lept up onto the rooftop. He let out a breath of mist into the night air and sat on the edge of the roof.

Alya climbed a fire escape and headed up onto the roof she pulled her self up easily then stood the breeze lifting her hair from her face. She smiled and headed to the opposite edge. She walked to the very edge and stood looking out over the city. She smiled noticing Riley but carried on standing silently waiting for him to speak first,

[Riley]

Riley looked at Alya

* damn... this city is gonna kill my brain... too many hot women* he thought shaking his head

"hey" Riley said walking up to her

Alya glanced overa sif she had just seen Riley

"Hey yourself!" she smiled "How you doing?"

[Riley]

"apart from freezing my ass off, i'm fine thanks" Riley replied " what about you?"

Alya smiled

"I'm fine thanks for asking" she smiled and leaned back casting a glance at his ass.

"Well it seems to be still there so the cold can't be doing too much harm." she smiled and winked at him.

[Riley]

Riley let half a smile creep accross his face before shaking his head

*gotta keep a clear mind man*

He turned away, stopping himself from checking her out again. He had other things to keep his mind on.

Alya smiled then looked back over the city.

"Its nice to have a bit of piece for a while, seems all I done in the last few months is fight or try to stay alive!" she was now talking more to herself her thoughts wondering.

"Yes a weeks of normality until Kain shows his face agaoin and all hell breaks loose!" she sighed and shook her head. Her thoughts ended abruptly and she snapped her head up, looking around her.

[Riley]

"Kain..." he mumbled and looked out towards the city " i know that son of a bitch is out there somewhere... just finding him is the trouble"

Alya's ears pricked and she glanced at him.

"To be honest Riley you are better off not being able to find him!" she smiled at him then shook her head sadly.

"I havent met anyone yet who can deal with him!"

[Riley]

Riley let out a small laugh

" i think you have " he replied "...me"
