He began climbing a fire escape to the roof.

"I...I...don't know..." she stutters, her grey feathered wings rustling uncomfortably.

He watches her wings rustle before returning his gaze to her countenance

Alya suddenly gasped and jumped to her feet. She moved back a little and lept from the rooftop. In a practiced move halfway down she caught a bar sticking out from the side of the opposite building and used it to swing herself on to the fire escape it was attached to. running down it lightly she diappeared into the crowds filling the street below
