Dais mouth looked as if it had filled as he suddenly started to cough. He dragged himself to the side of the roof as blood spurted out onto the floor below. His breaths were still heavy as he coughed up more blood

Raine sighed and moved over beside him.
"Do you need anything Dai? Should you go to the hospital?"

Erin heard coughing from the rooftops below her and she looked down. Hovering for a second she saw Dai coughing up blood. She gasped and dived heavily, but landed gracefully by his side.
"Dai...why are you coughing up blood? Do you need healing?"

Dai moved his head up to look at Erin, his eyes glazed. His breaths became short and sharp as he spat out more blood. He turned around and lifted up the haori, revealing a massive blade wound in his back

Raine sighed and looked up at Erin.
"Erin? Can you heal? Please he needs something doing!"

Erin gasped and went pale.
"stay still..." she instucted him as she gingerly laid her hands on Dai's bloodied back. A pale blue light surrounded her hands and then Dai's wound. Slowly the wound closes up but there was still a great amount of blood on Dai's clothing and Erin was still very pale.

Dai stood, his eyes still wide and staring out into nothing. His mind had just seemed to have been shattered as he stood in shock

Erin, though still pale, placed her hand on Dai's shoulder.
"Dai?" she asked softly

Dai blinked heavily as his body kicked into gear, feeling Erins touch on his shoulder. He dropped down onto his knees and a single silvery tear rolled down his cheek. Again, he had been saved by Erin, and to him this meant he was forever in debt

As colour returned to Erin's cheeks she knealt next to Dai.
"Dai...why are you crying?" she asked innocently.

Raine backed off giving the two young people a chance to talk she sat on the edge of the rooftop and thought about what she was going to do. She still hadn't heard from 'father' and she was beginning to wonder if she really had been sent here on a job or if it had been a case of he no longer needed her.

Dai swiftly wiped the tear from his face and stood up, holding onto his sword case tightly. He didn't say anything, he just dissappeared

Erin looked shocked as Dai disappeared. Thinking she had made another mistake she hung her head, her long blonde hair covering her face.

Slowly Erin stood up and spread her wings. Slowly she rose into the sky and then she swooped across the city.

Raine watched as the pair went thier seperate ways then slipped down from the rooftop herself.
