"A couple of months maybe. though I don't know how much longer I can stay here, just when I was getting comfortable." She laughed to herlsef sadly.
"Jerks are the easiest to take money from, there have only been about three guys I have met since I came here that aren't obsessed with either sex or money, usually both..."

"Hmm, the right connections... I need to get some of those." She laughed gently then looked about her. "Not that I think it would do that much good..." She winced almost unnoticeably as the tip of a spine pressed against the skin on her back. She hated the fact she needed to change so often, regardless of how old she was or how often she had been to the real world, it made so little difference.

"I wonder which group I will fall into..." She laughed gently to herself.
"It doesn't hurt how much you think, just stings and gives you a shock." She smiled

"I told you, make the right connections, ith the right people you sorted. If you don't your fucked. It just depends which catergory you fal under, do you fight for good or evil?" she looked at the woman "Both sides fighting for different ends, but ultimatly we all come to the same end eventually" she sighed
"It looks like it would hurt"

"You get used to it..." She thoughbt about whatthe woman had said.
"I do not fight for good or evil, just my own needs... I am sick of being used as a slave to meet other people's ends. I now work for my own."

She laughed
"I used to be like that myself, your'll find there comes a day when you don't have a choice and you have to show your loyalities to other people other than yourself" she shook her head
"Your'll see, believe me or not, that's what will happen. It always does"

"Indeed, well when that day comes I shall decide then." She smiled then felt another spine pierce her skin. "I must go... if you would excuse me." She moved quickly, disappearing into the forest.

Leaves rustled clumsily, before a foreboding whistle was brought to a close with a splintering crack. A thin-bladed knife lay freshly buried in a sturdy branch high above in the forest's dying canopies, followed by another rustle, and yet another piercing song from a deadly blade.
Air brushed past the smooth and pale face of the demi-daemon, the breeze battering leather as it flared like a black flag through the darkened forest. Eyes of wild violet fixated upon what laid before them, whilst toned legs lept the broad gaps that stood between branches. The rain of knives persisted, skewering wood and leaf, refusing to judge those caught in their crossfire as they continued to follow upon the agile heals of their prey.
