The daemon slowly returned to his seat, once again pulling the veil of leather that was his jacket to the side as he sat down, his legs crossed neatly in the skin-tight material and his fingers laced together to sit upon his knee.
"Cypher." Answered the young man, a mannerly smile upon his face as he announced the name to the vampire.

Viktor noodded and held out his frail hand. "Well thank you Cypher. My name is Count Viktor Moldovf, and this is my assistant, Dominique Makiko." He said pointing to her.

Without a word in the matter, Cypher leaned over the table to slip his slender hand into that of the crippled Vampire, shaking it gently in a friendly gesture.
"It is a pleasure to meet you both." He answered, his voice gentle in tone as he inclined his head to the pair respectively. "Sir, Miss..."

Viktor moved his hand away and nodded to Dominique.
"So tell me Cypher. What is this place like to live in?"

The daemon slowly retracted his hand from the breif shake, settling it with its twin upon his knee as he pondered his answer to the man's question.
"Well, it is lively, to say the least." Replied Cypher, his tone seemed to be quite dreamy, as if he were in deep thought as he listened to his own brief evaluation. "It isn't the most peaceful place, either, I'm afraid."

Viktor gave a weak chuckle. "Why so?" He was intrigued.
All the while Dominique didn't move.

Cypher regarded the man with a quick glance before he opened his mouth to answer the vampire once again.
"Let us just say that if you had arrived a few months earlier, there would not have been much of a city left to visit." He stated, his voice never once lost its polite and gentle tone. "War, I fear."

"Everyone." Replied the halfling cooly, as if the matter of war was nothing extraordinary to his ears. "It was quite an un pleasent time, to say the least, but it's behind us, now."

Before Viktor could speak Dominique stood to her feet and unlocked his brakes.
<Cypher/Viktor<We must leave.> She said plainly.

Dominique waited.
"Cypher. When I aquire my house here in Dark Streets. You shall have to come round and visit me. I shant take no for an answer!" He winked at him to say goodbye and Dominique wheeled him away.

Cypher allowed a glimmer of a smile to slide across his face at the man's insistant proposal, and with a mute bob of the head, the halfling nodded to the vampire and his faithful slave.
"Then it shall not be my answer, I can assure you." Retorted the thief with a calm, if not pleased, air in his voice. "Take care." Eyes of the softest shade traced the paths of both man and woman as they took their leave, leaving him alone in the warm and comfortable cafe once again, with only the waitresses to keep him company.

After a few quiet minutes to himself, with only the rush of water from the cafe's humble little kitchen and the quiet chatter of the remaining staff to keep him company, the daemon finally began to make his leave. Silently the thief slid his thin form from in between the chair and table, equally unheard footsteps danced across the floor to the door.
A head turned in the kitchen at the sound of the door shutting with a soft clatter, only to find that when they peered around the clusters of chairs and tables that littered the cafe floor, that not a single soul lingered there. The only sign of life once occupying the building a note of money sitting atop an empty table.

Jonas walked into the cafe and sat. *Wait...* He thought with confusion, *Who was I supposed to meet today?...*

Fienis entered the cafe with an air of nonchalance, the door shutting behind him with a slight clatter. He noticed a figure at a table from the strip club last night, and ordered a coffee. He took the coffee and sat at a table to the right of him.

Jonas' head jerked up. He looked at the person who took a seat near him. Something about him was familiar... "Ah..." He started, but closed his mouth.
