"no my dear, it wasn't you i was meaning. i refer to the other worldly beings such as myself that have arrived in town. they have risen to power much faster than expected and i am unable to regulate that power, and that lead to a rather nasty event last night regarding such individuals and others in the city"

Skawn sighed.
"You are going to regret that. One day."
He threw the sword into the air, which spun, sending off several flashes from the remains of the setting sun. He snatched it from the air, his hand perferctly on the handle, and pointed it to Cypher's throat.
"You will leave me alone, and I will leave you the same."
Skawn began to walk away, but turned back sharply.
"And you WILL leave Lucio alone also."
Skawn stepped off the edge of the building. He fell all the way to the ground, but there was, of course, no crack, or thump, or bang, for Skawn never hit the ground. He has slipped into the shadows, where he would be safe. For now.

"our resident half radiant, also known as skawn insisted on using a particular artifact that he isn't powerful enough to control and nearly destroyed half the city, or at least he would have if i hadn't taken the artifact. but his actions drew in alot of powerful people in the city and it all could have gone very very wrong"

"for the moment, i have the artifact in question, and skawn won't be getting it back for quite a while"
[he looked back out across the city]
"we are as safe as someone can be in a city such as this"

Cypher stayed completely static throughout the Radiant's tantrum, his eyes remained fixed on a rather out of the ordinary building that stood a fair distance from the office block.
His eyes slowly travelled downwards as the young man plummeted to the ground below, his eyes narrowed as he replayed the final words of the shadow in his mind before finally breaking his silence.
"So, we're rivals now?" He thought out loud, his voice grabbed and pulled to the side by the wind.
