Tycho jumped from roof to roof until he leapt into the park.

Cypher bounded up to the roof of the office block, landing on the top of the concrete structure with an artful acrobatic flip forwards. The young man stood up briskly, slowly walking over to the furthest edge to cast his eyes on the roofs of the many buildings that made up the vastly populated expanse.
His whole body remained static, arms folded over his torso as he inspected the skyline with deep amethyst eyes. The wind that had generated at such a high up level whipped around his figure, grabbing his hair and throwing it in the direction is was headed for.

A skyscraper cast a long shadow over a small church's steeple, masking it in darkness. The side of the small tower wobbled, and a figure leapt from it's darkness. He sighed.
"I've still got the moves!"

The half Daemon's eyes shot a glance over towards the small Methodist church below the office block he was standing on. He could feel it, something lurking around, maybe even in it, he couldn't really tell, it felt like both.
His mouth arched to form a thin frown and his arms remained neatly folded across his lower torso, the young thief kept his trained eyes focused on the small house of God below him, his gaze still sturdy and unshaken even when the being crawled out of the very shadows that were painted on the steeple of the stone structure, ignoring the purple strands of hair that were caught inbetween his lips as they tried to struggle free.
Thoughts of what the being could be doing in the city invaded his once calm and peaceful mind as his dark eyes narrowed in suspicion.

Skawn brushed himself off, and laid his suitcase in front of him. He opened it's lid and reached deep inside. Deep, deep inside. Deeper than he should have been able to, his arm in the suitcase right up to his shoulder.
After a few minutes he slowly brought his arm out, and in his hand he held a cup of tea. He laid it on one of the tiles next to him and then zipped up the suitcase, which he then sat on, and sipped his tea.
He looked around the city. It was dark. His kind of place. He heard the faintest sound from behind him, and looked up to the roof of an office block. He could sense a shadow. Someone was watching him...

The stern gaze that continued to monitor the enigmatic being that sat underneath them did not waver, even as the stranger in question stared right back into the deep spheres. Only the purple eyebrows above them moved, knitting together, drawing towards the bridge of the nose in deep thought. The young thief was prepared for whatever the newcomer had to throw at him, his muscles tensed as he continued to stare downward.

Skawn finished his tea, and dropped the cup into his suitcase. There was no crash, nor even a small thump.
He closed his eyes and listened to the shadows. The figure was still there. And was not moving. Anyone else would never have noticed the man, but Skawn was not just anyone. He opened his coat and slipped his suitcase into it's shadows. Then he slowly walked towards the steeple, and leant against it. He counted to three, under his breath, then threw himself backwards, into the shadow.
He stepped out of the watcher's shadow, as if he had been catapulted through the roof. The force threw him a few inches in the air, and he landed with his cape-like coat hanging open. Quick as a bat, he reached inside and pulled out a small silver kitchen knife.
"Who are you?" he hissed.

The halfling remained with his back facing the stranger, dropping his arms down to rest at his sides.
Slowly the thief his lowered head as if to look at the floor he stood on before turning it to the side, his coat concealing his mouth, and the one eye that could be seen by the attacker focused on him intensely despite the locks of hair that covered it.
"I could ask you the same question." He replied calmly, not even drawing a weapon to acknowledge the being's empty threat.

"It would be foolish to insult an heir of the Adair family... State your prescence!"
Skawn stood firm, but he was sure that this watcher could sense his fear. There was something about him...

"And I can assure you it would be foolish to start challenging complete strangers, because you made your being known in an abnormal manner." The thief stated, pure apathy glazing over his face and tainting everyword that came from his lips.
Slowly turning his head back, Cypher cast his gaze onto the city down below. "Before you start picking fault with others, take your own flaws into consideration." He commented in a monotonous manner, holding his hands in weak fists at his sides.
"Maybe then I will dignify your question with the answer you wish to hear."

Skawn threw his knife into his jacket. The stranger was right, a fight would be most foolish. He looked at the man's shadow. Deep inside, there was something. Something different. He was no mortal. Hypnotised by this mysterious strength, he stared at the shadow, before glancing back to it's owner. "Do you... do you know what you have? I've... never seen something like this, so... deep. So hidden. What... are you?"

The halfling's head slowly rose up at the sound of the question, well aware that the attacker had retracted his weapon back to where ever it had come from.
Turning around to face the enigma, Cypher looked the stranger in the eyes, amethyst eyes shielded by the same coloured locks of hair calmly focused on the being. "I'm not going to release such information to a complete stranger." The thief replied cooly, blinking at a slowing speed as the words left his lips.
"I'm just not fully what I seem to be." He added in the same cool, relatively deep voice.

Skawn looked at the man. He was new here, and this man seemed aware of everything. He needed a friend, if he wanted to survive here, and who better than a man like this. Besides, if the power awoke, Skawn wanted to see it. Skawn held out his hand.
"I am Skawn Adair, the prince of twilight. I'm... not from around here."

The demonic being looked down at the hand with great distrust and scrutiny, the wind still pinning locks of hair to his pale face as he thought.
With a sigh of defeat containing a low 'hmph', Cypher took a couple of steps forward, raising an arm and gripping Skawn's hand with his own semi-gloved palm in a firm handshake. "I am Cypher." The Daemon halfling stated, thinking it was only polite to give the man his own name after telling him his.
*Not from around here,* He mentally mused to himself. *that wasn't obvious...* He continued sarcastically, the frown still bending the corners of his mouth down as he shook the stranger's hand.

Skawn stared at Cypher for a while. He seemed familiar somehow... After a few minutes of awkward silence, Skawn held open his coat, and reached inside. "You like tea?" he asked, rummaging inside the darkness.
