The young Daemon watched as the man plunged his hand into his coat as if it were a door to another dimension. He continued to stare even after the question was asked, it was such a surreal sight it was almost unbelievable, but then again, so was he.
Shaking the thoughts out of his head, the thief opened his mouth to speak. "Yes..." He replied uneasily.

Skawn retracted his hand, holding another cup of tea. He handed it to Cypher, then pulled out one for himself.
"So... Know any nice places?"

Cypher stood there, holding the cup of tea in a hand attached to a right-angled arm as if he were a mannequin. "....Thank you..." He droned as he inspected the tea cup, his mind obviously more focused on the small container he now held, lips parted as he looked it over once more before lifting his head back up to face Skawn.
"'Nice places'? Not really." He answered truthfully, his voice slightly dull as he spoke, still holding the small cup in one hand.

"Okay... Know any places?" Skawn looked at the city below him. He felt curiously drawn into it, but his natural instinct told him it was not safe to go alone.

The thief found himself drawn to the teacup yet again, his dark eyes reflecting off the surface of the milky liquid as he stared into it, still a little unsure of how safe the beverage was. "A few places, yes." He replied, still inspecting the substance that sat in the cup. "But nothing too outstanding." He finished, reluctantly taking a sip of his tea after speaking.

"I'm not after outstanding." said Skawn, placing his now empty cup inside his coat. A particularly strong gust of wind hit him in the face. "I'm after somewhere warm."

Cypher lowered the cup from his lips after drinking most of the tea that was in it. "To be honest, I'm not an expert on this city yet." He stated, looking into his cup again "But I know quite a few people, if you talk to them then maybe you could find somewhere." He recommended, sipping the last of the warm tea and handing the empty cup back to Skawn.
"I don't really have time to help you with that."

Skawn took the cup, and dropped it into a pocket in his coat. The pocket remained flat and empty-looking. He sighed. "Fine. Then I better get looking myself." He turned to look at the city, then turned back to Cypher. "I'll see you around."
Skawn stepped back, then ran at Cypher. He jumped, and landed just in front of the man, into his shadow. And with that, he was gone. And the rooftops were silent once more.

A loud clap of thunder rang though the air, its twin joining it soon after the eldest made its entry. Cypher slowly walked over to the edge of the stone building, the toes of his boots standing over the edge of the office block. The young Daemon looked down as the hundreds of rapid water droplets fell from the heavens and plummeted down to the ground below.
The soft murmur of his own incantations filled the ears of the young man, the rain drowning out most of the words he was reciting to himself. Before the chant was finished the halfling held his arms out either side of him, slowly sweeping them back and slamming the bottoms of his palms infront of him, holding this stance for but a few seconds before throwing his arms back out and holding his head up high, allowing the torrential downpour to hit his pale face and soak his soft hair through.
Feathered, demonic wings burst forth from the young man's back, scattering dark feathers that fell to the ground as the rain pummeled the downy objects to force them down to the damp concrete below, the harsh weather refusing to give the defenseless items a chance to drift away peacefully.
The black appendages stretched out, their master lowered his arms as well as his head slightly, before leaping up into the water drenched air, and with one great flap he was airborne, the gust from the two wings propelling the thin layer of water that lay on the roof back with the force.
