The young Daemon let his stern gaze linger upon the lights of the city below him, his dark eyes reflected the sickly yellow glow that most of the buildings emitted, the gentle breeze from gently tugged his hair to his left, pinning the soft strands and locks of dark purple hair to his cheek.
A weak, peaceful smile shone on the face of the halfling as the words he had used to conclude the arguement with Skawn echoed in his mind.

Cypher remained motionless, with the exception of breathing on the rooftops, his neck craned over slightly to see the heart of the city beating loudly underneath him.

As much as he wanted to laze around and do nothing, Cypher was beginning to grow awfully tired of staring to the unwholesome light that derived from the city. Blinking his eyelids shut to obliterate the headache inducing shine from his eyes the young thief stood up, lifting his head to look at the stars above as he began to chant to himself.
Waving his hands around to his waist and back, the halfling flung his arms out wide and waited until the twin black wings exploded through his back in a flurry of midnight feathers. As the numbing effect of the incantation wore off Cypher pushed his arms out infront of him, lacing his fingers together and pushing out further, his knuckles and finger joints emitting a sickly cracking noise.
In a measured movement the teenager jumped from the edge of the roof, his arms forced up over his head by gravity before the feathery appendages gave one mighty flap, pushing their master up into the air before they began to glide over the cityscape.

Cypher had climbed onto the rooftops earlier in the day, yet the thief did not have the urge to roam around the city today. Instead the Demon stood on the edge of one of the tallest buildings in the city, thick black wings wrapped around his body and his arms folded over his chest as he looked down at the ground below him, a small peaceful smile lit up his pale face ever so slightly.
With one small exhale the young man jumped from his perch, spreading out his wings and flying towards the slums. It was time to reclaim his coat.

Cypher sat atop the spire of a glorious old church that lay at the heart of the city, his hand snaked around the metal cross-shaped emblem that stood proudly on the tip of the pinnacle. He remained silent as he cast his eyes out to the city before him, it almost seemed like this small patch of land that belonged to religious faction was frozen in time, as all that stood around it were concrete buildings and office blocks.

Skawn leapt from a taller office block, grabbing the lower ledge of the spire just in time. He hoisted himself up, and stood up to his full height once again. Staring at Cypher with cold, charcoal eyes, he waited for the halfling to speak.

The young Demon continued to stare absently at the building to the left of the church, as if Skawn had never actually appeared. "Is there something wrong?" He asked, refusing to take his eyes off of the building.
