Cypher had started to grow fond of one of the large, mainstream churches situated in the city. He lay back on the roof, his cold hands cradled his head, and his legs were crossed over one another as he looked up to the black sky. The pale moon shone eerily through decaying clouds, striking all that it touched with a soft white glow. The young man watched as the ghostly sphere retreated behind the thick night clouds, it reappeared every now and then for a brief moment, as if to fool the eyes of the young demon, but all in vain. He was not one to be fooled easily.
Cypher huffed to himself in boredom, before be began to whistle a careless soft tune to himself, if only to pass the time for now. A lot was running through his head right now, the main thing being that woman from before. She was sincere, and that he could tell. It was just so sudden, so confusing...
He shook his mind free of worry, and soon he was whistling to himself and the starry night sky once again.

Cyher deflated as he clapped his hands against his knees. He pulled himself up from his seat on the church roof with ease, and soon he was pacing up and down the sloped island that he now stood upon to warm himself up before making any drastic movements.
Now satisfied that he was warmed up enough, the young figure walked over to the edge of the old structure, before leaping over the edge and down onto the ground below. He started to wander around before he made his way to Hell's Hideaway.

A loud clatter hit the roof, followed by a soft sigh. "I'm fine." The woman announced. Cypher, who sat on the edge of the roof they had all landed on gave a nod, which was visible even with his back turned to everybody else.

[Alya looked over to Darla who nodded. Alya heaved a heavy sigh and looked over the edge of the roof to where the club should have been. A single tear rolled down her cheek and she looked down at Lee]
"He could have been killed and it would have been all my fault! How can I ever repay either of you?!" [she turned to Cypher and his friend]

The woman waved a hand of dismissal. "You don't need to do anything." She placated. She made it her responsibility to speak for both herself and her god-son, who obviously felt like being quiet right now.

[Alya smiled and nodded]
"Thank you! Well I best get Lee home I was going to stay at the club with him to night to save actually moving him but as thats not possible i may as well take him home! Thank you again for all your help! Darla I will see you tomorrow!" [Alya smiled sadly turned and made her way slowly down the stairs. She was strong but Lee was not small and she had been carrying him for a while now she was beginning to tire and every part of her body was beginning to scream out in pain.]

The woman nodded and waved as Alya and Darla left, leaving both herself and Cypher on their own. After a few minutes in silence the pair wandered further into the middle of the roof and slid down one of the walls that covered the stairs which led up to the roof.
It took longer than usual for the woman to fall asleep, perhaps half an hour or so. But it took the daemon what seemed like a decade to finally drift off after all that had happened but a few minutes ago. He just couldn't settle, especially after waking up only three or four hours ago.

Cypher had woken up early on in the hours of the morning, and he had done nothing but stare absently at the exact spot where Hell's Hideaway once stood, now but a heap of rubble and debris. A few groups of people started crowding around the wreckage, but they had soon lost interest and wandered off elsewhere to quench their thirst. *We blew up the bar...* The thief looked down sheepishly to the street below, cluttered with vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
It was then that he realized that it was much colder than normal, although his hat and scarf had remained intact, it seemed as though something was missing. "My coat..." He muttered to himself with a sigh. He had lost it, the one thing he could count on to keep him sheltered from the elements, and he had left it, now lost under the rubble that was once a bar. He couldn't afford another one, not right now. It was then, that a rare, word was uttered into the wind, a word that wasn't commonly used by the purple-haired youth.
"Bugger..."

A whole day had passed, and not once did the young daemon move from his post. His wings, thick and full with soft black feathers, wrapped around his lithe form and shielded their master from the chill that lingered in the air to compensate for the jacket that he no longer posessed.
The woman, his god-mother, had left a few hours back. She had something to take care of, apparently, and said that she would pay him a visit in a day or two's time. As much as he did not want to admit it to himself, it was nice to know that he still had people to fall back on, even after the death of his parents. It almost comforted him in a way.
The young man slid further down a familiar wall, his head laid against the stone as he looked up to the night sky, mainly the moon that hung above all the stars that mingled with the cold of the crisp night air. The halfling sighed, his foggy white breath flew past his face, and the thick black wings held the figure even tighter in their grasp once they realised that he was shivering.
In a few short moments, Cypher slowly slid into a peaceful sleep, his head tilted against one of his wings, and his breathing slowed down ever so slightly to prove that he was, indeed, resting as if he were safe inside the comfort of four walls.

[Alya was dumped unceremoniuosly ontop of teh sleeping daemon apparently appearing out of thin air]
"Owww!" [she howled she had partially healed but it was going to take a few days for her to reach her full strength her face was bloddied and bruised and the burn on her chest was still causing her pain. She rolled of off Cypher then turned back]
"Sor........" [She smiled and shook her head in amazement as when she realised he was still asleep]
*He really does sleep like the dead!*
[She climbed slowly off the roof]

Deep purple eyes slowly cracked open, but all they could see was darkness. Cypher grumbled a little, shifting the wing that blocked his view out of his way as he sat up. The thief peered around as he blinked his eyes a couple of times, his arm slid up to prop himself against. The daemon's face contorted into one of confusion as he felt something unfamiliar underneath his palm.
Cypher sat up fully, his wings folded behind his back. There, in front of him, was a neatly folded square of leather. His head had been resting against it, probably like a make-shift pillow. He hadn't put it there, but he did have a vague idea of who did. The thief sat cross-legged on the roof, his hands gripped the material and swung it over so he could inspect it.
It was a leather jacket, similar to his old one, although not at all battered, clearly brand new. The halfling stood up to get a better look of the entire article, but when he did, a small piece of paper fluttered out from the pocket located in the lining of the jacket. The young man read it, and a small smile spread across his face at the signature scribbled across the bottom of the small note.
Cypher whirled the jacket over his head, his thin, slightly-muscled pale arms slid into the long sleeves. He tugged at the lapel, and grabbed the hem and lifted it upward to examine it further. It was a perfect fit for him, just like the note said it was. It was nice to know you could count on people when in need.
The lithe figure of the young thief made its way to the edge of the building, the leather billowed against his sides as he looked on at the chaotic streets below. It was hectic nowadays, and he wasn't very happy himself about the problems that were surfacing as of late. The smile that was once on the place face of the daemon was replaced by a frown of deep thought as he looked on at all the fantastic lights of the city that stood before him.

A glimmer of light crept between two clouds, then died away as quickly as it had emerged. But a small shape remained. It fell and fell, gathering speed as it plumeted. It was aimed straight for a small office block, and it seemed gravity was soon going to be done with the shape.
A few feet from a messy end, great white wings burst from the creature's back, and it immediatley lost all of it's velocity. It's wings slowed their rhythmic strokes, allowing it to decend slowly on to the building below.

A soft sound, like that of a small bell, rang in the mind of the young daemon. Slowly he turned, his head tilted up to the dark heavens, keen eyes watched as the small speck began to increase in size, before it finally descended onto the same roof top that he currently occupied.
The youth had stepped down from his perch on the edge of the office block some time ago, and as he stood on the same level with the enigmatic being, he examined it carefully with keen eyes that took in every feather, glimmer, and feature. He thought that whoever it was looked awfully familiar.
Cypher remained silent, one foot stepped back cautiously as he waited for whatever it was to make the first move.
