Raine's eyes flickered over the woman and she soon lost interest she didnt appear to be any kind of threat so Raine resumed her apparant interest in the street below her.

Cypher slid his thickly-lashed eyelids down over his eyes, the smile still played on his lips as a small chuckle managed to escape from them.
"I think that the only thing unusual for this place would be somebody normal paying a visit." He cracked his eyes open again as he fidgeted slightly with the way he stood, his hip pushed inward slightly by his hand as he twisted his head back, as if looking for whoever he was meeting.
"So, how are things?" He asked, his head turned back to address Saz as he spoke.

She nodded
"Ooh fine, just muddling along, me and Tanner got engaged!" she smiled
"How about you, how things?"

Cypher's eyes seemed to light up more with happiness than with the moonlight at the sound of Saz mentioning her engagement.
"Ah, yes. I heard a few weeks ago, myself." He smiled a little broader than before, his lips parted to reveal a glimpse of his teeth, a telltale sign that he was happier than normal. "Congratulations for you both."
At the sound of another usual, everyday question, Cypher's lips drew back together as he thought of an answer.
"They're okay." He replied with a cheery smile. "I'm starting to think that my memory is beginning to fail me, though." His eyes narrowed in a friendly manner. "I think I may be losing my touch at my old age." He joked calmly, his amethyst gaze flicked over to Raine as he made the final remark, then returned them to the young woman he was speaking to.
((OOC: "Losing it at his old age" and looking at Raine in reference to the fact that he couldn't remember her name. Not trying to pick a fight.))

She smiled at Cypher, noticing his genuine enthusiam for her engagement she smiled again
"Thank you Cypher"
She smiled again "I'm glad things are going well for you too" she laughed "You loosing your touch, never!!" she laughed

Raines eyes flickered up and across the pair on the nearby rooftop she smiled and watched them openly with interest.

Cypher released another small chuckle unintentionally.
"I hope not, otherwise I'll have to return to the life of a starving artist, again." He replied with a calm smile.

"You know in all the time I've known you I've never heard you laugh" she smiled "You should do that more oftern" she nodded sincerely
She looked over to the girl
"Come join us" she shouted over

Raine smiled and nodded at the two but something caught her eye in the streets below. She looked up and called over.
"Sorry I'll have to take a rain check" she grinned at her pun and stepped off the edge of the roof landing with catlike grace on a fireescape platform about halfway down the building.

"Suit yourself" she called after the girl
"Man... the people around here these days..." she shook her head and looked back at Cypher

A small smile tugged at Cypher's mouth from the simple statement, and he nodded in harmony with Saz's final comment. But in a flash, the daemon whirled around to face behind him, his forearms crossed over one another and above his face. The thin form of the young man bent backward from the force exerted upon him. However, he was able to force both himself upright, and his attacker back with great ease.
Cypher shook his head in mock despair.
"That's little below the belt, even for you, isn't it, Sigure?" He asked innocently, his gentle voice unruffled by the surprise attack.
The blonde haired woman smiled sweetly back to him.
"If anybody hits below the belt here, it's you." She retorted whilst she maintained her jokingly sweet face, but Cypher only chuckled in reply as he refused to take the comment seriously.

Sigure waved a hand of dismissal at Saz's comment.
"Nah, it's cool." She said with a friendly little wink and a point in the Vampire's direction. "It was just a one off. Can't have a skilled star like the pretty-boy doubting his skill like that."

She laughed at Cyphers comment not realising how funyn he actually was
She found it strange how long she'd known Cypoher and yet how little she truely knew about him

Sigure smirked slightly as she stood up and lifted her hand to rest it on the sword that lay by her waist, only to find that it was not there any longer.
Her eyes flicked from his hip over to Cypher, and her eyes widened in mock shock.
The young man stood a fair way from her, still, and in his hand lay her own blade, sleeping in its intricately detailed sheath. He stood in the exact same manner, in the exact same place that he had just been in moments before, but unbeknownst to the untrained eye, as well as Sigure, the thief had flashed over to her, taken her blade from her without her even realising it, and flashed back to the point where he previously stood. His speed was truly unfathomable, even to her.
Cypher held the blade near his face, the flat of the sheathe turned to rest just in front of his nose, and the same, warm smile painted across his pale face.
"I wouldn't worry, I haven't lost all my skill just yet." His smile broadened a little as he humoured his god mother for a while, revelling in his little trick.
Sigure stalked over to the young man with a smile.
"You little minx!" She exclaimed, no fury in her voice at all as she snatched her blade back and smacked the daemon lightly upside the head.
