"Oh?" The Daemon uttered aloud, resisting the urge to quirk an eyebrow at the thought. "In any case, I'm quite adept at remaining inconspicuous, human or other." He explained cooly, almost in a matter-of-fact manner.

"Indeed, how long have you stayed here?" he asked calmly, he needed to know what he could about the place. It was dangerous to wander uninformed, although information didn't look like it would decrease the danger of this place.

"A year, almost." Replied the Daemon, the creak of old and weary floorboard followed his every step as he paced around the bottom floor, glancing at furniture and photographs that reamined set up upon window ledges and tables, hidden under thick layers of dust. "It's long enough to know the vital information, though."

"Hmm, I can imagine." He looked over so some of the dusty furnatur and saw a small sofa hidden in the corner. Dodging a patch of light he grasped the edge and pulled it out of the lit area, into the darkness of the centre of the room. He made a vague brush at the dust but decided there was too much to bother with and just sat down on the arm, watching Cypher curiously.

After stealing a glance at the Vampire as he attacked the dust that sat upon the old and worn arm chair, Cypher immediately turned his head back, pacing into the kitchen to take a glance around the humble room.
"So, what brought you here?" Asked the Halfling, his voice raised to let it words carry through to the living room.

"I'm rather a wanderer." He smiled a little, his gaze following Cypher. "I have traveled all over, and I heard about this place and thought I would stop by." He moved back the long tresses of hair that slipped forwards. He couldn't read cypher the way he wanted to, something was very strange about him but he couldn't decide what.

Cypher managed a backwards glance into the living room, but all he could see of the night walker was the back of the moth-eaten chair he now sat upon as if it were a throne.
"So I see..." He answered, his eyes gleamed in the dark, before he resumed his inspection of the kitchen, as if searching for a rare artifact hiding in the dust.

He crossed his legs and looked about the rest of the room, the daylight was changing that was for sure. Soon it would be late evening and he could begin walking again, if that was wise with the other vampire about, but he would need to feed. A small yawn escaped his lips but he hid it, he was not used to being awake in the daylight, it made him tired and put him in a daze

The Halfling re-emerged from the kitchen, the hollow tap of feet upon the groaning floorboards stopped as he walked lightly upon them, as if a thin blanket of air laid between the ground and himself, although this was not the case.
He took a sidelong glace at the reclining figure in the armchair, before he paced over to the opposite side of the room, curious as to what lingered in the building.

He watched cypher carefully. "Are you human...?" He asked with sudden abruptness, he became rather blunt as hunger or tiredness set in and both were begining now. "You seem so different, and I have never seen a human with such hair, in all my days."

Stooped in a crouch as the question was fired at him, Cypher stopped still for a fraction of a second, his hands grasped his knees as he inspected what appeared to be a photograph of sorts. But before he could take a closer look, the Daemon slid up to his full height once more, and turned to stare cooly in the direction of the arm chair.
A soft shake of the head began the answer. "No." He replied, a glimmer of a smile upon his face.

He smirked slightly. "I thought not." He seemed satisfied with this, not wanting to press his kind guide for information. He rested one arm on the chair and balanced his cheek on his fingertips gently, not really taking any weight off, just reliefing the tiredness.

The thief returned to the photograph, assuming the same stance as he had done before, but he found his lips moving as he looked onward.
"Half Daemon, and half..." He paused, his eyes softed a fraction, and he shook the words from his head before he had a chance to finish them. "Never mind."

His lips twisted to a smile ever so slightly, he knew Cypher wasn't about to say human. "That's it then..." he spoke softly to himself, used to thinking out loud. He nodded but turned away to look about the rest of the room, wondering how large the house was.

The Daemon stole a brief glance of the Vampire as he rose from his place to gently pace about the living room, near the windows the night walker daren't approach.
